Tate Mansion

A foreboding mansion set on a mountain surrounded by ice and guarded by gargoyles, the very outside of the building seems to speak of unknown darkness and despair. High stone walls surround the entire complex, protecting the family from assault from afar, and the guard towers are kept manned at all times. Once, a long time ago, it is speculated that the Tate family was established here to protect Valaria from assault from the other side of the mountains. Whatever the reason, unsavory things are going on behind the walls now, and as if that were not enough, the dark history of the Abyss seems to lie here as a Gate lies beneath the building in the family's crypt, discovered by the ancestor who later wreaked so much havoc among the other bluebloods.
